One of the largest and grandest houses of the first Elizabethan Age, Burghley House was built in the th​e 16th ​Century by William Cecil, the first Lord Burghley. A stunning house with extensive grounds, Orangery Restaurant, Garden Cafe, culture park and water garden is open to the public over the summer period.
