Many visitors to the historic town of Stamford will have walked out of Burghley Park through the ancient oak gate onto Burghley Lane. Park Gate stands immediately on the right at the end of a striking terrace of Grade II Listed cottages.

The property is well situated within easy walking distance of Stamford’s wonderfully preserved town centre. Very well served by restaurants, cafes, independent shops and welcoming pubs it is not surprising that it was voted by The Sunday Times “The Sunday Times – Stamford, Best place to live in Britain” in 2014. With its many historical buildings, Stamford is widely acknowledged to provide one of the most authentic Georgian townscapes in the UK. It’s a great town in which to stay and of course not forgetting a visit to Burghley House and the Burghley Horse Trials.

Fully modernised to make the best of its period features, Park Gate has been furnished to a high standard with beautiful fabrics and accessories. It really is a warm and comfortable property and one to which you will want to return again. It provides accommodation over four floors.
